The City of Lebanon is scheduled to receive $576,726.70 from the American Rescue Program.  Specific

guidelines for the use of the funds were sent to us by the Treasury Department Branch of the Federal

Government.  Water and Sewer infrastructures were an approved category for the use of the funds.

The proposed projects are as follows:

        1.   Televise McAllister Sewer Main to determine the need for replacement or repair.

        2.   McAllister Street Sewer replacement or repairs if necessary.

City Hall Closed

The Mermaid Inn, built in 1830, hosted Charles Dickens during his visit to the Looking Glass Prairie in 1842. This old "hotel" is owned by the Lebanon Historical Society and has now been partially restored and is available for tours.

Participation from water customers is essential for completing this inventory and the City of Lebanon Water Department is asking for your help.

The City of Lebanon Street Department is asking residents to remove any objects that are on the streets, such as basketball poles, cars, etc. to ensure the department is able to plow the streets if needed on Thursday December 22 and Friday December 23, 2022 due to the chance of snow. Thank you.
